Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Ruby/React, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Comprehend and articulate user and product challenges.

• Oversee major technical deliverables within the team, from issue identification to production implementation.

• Develop dependable, scalable, and user-centric products.

• Analyze and troubleshoot intricate production issues utilizing monitoring, observability, and data analysis tools.

• Create and refine robust, high-performing, scalable, and trustworthy solutions.

• Provide expertise in a key component of the technology stack and take initiative on high-impact projects.

• Enhance engineering practices via code evaluations, collaborative programming, documentation, RFCs, and AI-supported development.

• Guide engineers, disseminate knowledge, give constructive feedback, and elevate technical skills and work methodologies.

• Work in tandem with other teams and communicate updates, risks, decisions, and outcomes.

• Engage with the tech community through technical publications, onboarding, interviews, incident management, initiatives, and meetups.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React (minimum of 7-8 years).

• Strong understanding of product and business dynamics.

• Proven experience in tackling complex challenges.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively.

• Collaborative mindset and ownership of reliable, practical solutions.

• Capability to work remotely from a European country of residence.

• Must reside within a two-hour time difference from the CET time zone.

• Eligibility to work in the European Union.

• Experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Familiarity with React and TypeScript.
