Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bolivia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications alongside backend services.

• Create responsive and maintainable user interfaces utilizing React.js and JavaScript.

• Develop, enhance, and integrate backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Design, construct, and consume APIs for application functionalities and system integrations.

• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

• Engage in technical discussions, solution designs, and code reviews.

• Diagnose application issues, pinpoint root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Produce clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Contribute to technical estimations and development planning processes.

• Identify and implement enhancements to application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional software development experience at a senior engineering level.

• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.

• Proficient in JavaScript and modern web development principles.

• Practical experience with React.js or similar modern front-end frameworks.

• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs and web services.

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL Server.

• Experience with non-relational databases and MongoDB.

• Knowledge of Git, version control workflows, and collaborative development practices.

• Proven ability to apply software engineering best practices and produce maintainable code.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Capability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of deliverables.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and contemporary development workflows.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools.

• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and Docker or containerized environments.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and front-end testing frameworks.
