Senior Fullstack Python Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bolivia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications along with backend services.

• Create responsive and maintainable user interfaces utilizing React.js, Next.js, and JavaScript.

• Enhance and integrate backend services using Python.

• Develop and utilize APIs to facilitate application functionality and system integrations.

• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and QA engineers to ensure delivery of high-quality software.

• Engage in technical discussions, solution design, and conduct code reviews.

• Troubleshoot application issues, determine root causes, and implement long-lasting solutions.

• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Contribute to technical estimations and development planning processes.

• Identify and implement enhancements to application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid professional experience in software development at a senior engineering level.

• Strong expertise in Python for backend development.

• Proficient in JavaScript and modern web development principles.

• Practical experience with React.js and Next.js.

• Proven experience in developing and integrating REST APIs and web services.

• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of Git, version control workflows, and collaborative development practices.

• Experience in applying software engineering best practices and writing maintainable code.

• Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving.

• Ability to work independently, collaborate efficiently, and take ownership of deliverables.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and Docker or containerized environments.
