This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Develop and sustain features on the Tax Provision 2.0 platform, which includes React microfrontend screens, TypeScript serverless Lambdas, and Fastify services.
• Contribute to the shared @btas/btas-tax-provision-business-rules TypeScript library and its C# code generation pipeline.
• Create and uphold unit, integration, and end-to-end tests utilizing Jest, Playwright, and K6.
• Design and implement AWS infrastructure modifications using Terraform for Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, RDS/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, and Secrets Manager.
• Engage in the development and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD pipelines, which includes security scanning and Terraform deployment pipelines.
• Work collaboratively with architects and product teams on asynchronous job patterns, calculation service APIs, and data-layer abstractions.
• Leverage AI coding assistants by crafting precise prompts, critically reviewing generated code, and integrating outputs within a vast multi-repository codebase.
• Oversee and enhance the legacy ASP.NET Framework 4.7.2 application during its migration process.
• Facilitate a modern cloud-native platform for intricate corporate tax calculations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node 18.
• Expertise in React 18 and contemporary React patterns, including hooks, context, and query management.
• Familiarity with C#/.NET, preferably modern .NET 10 and legacy .NET Framework 4.7.2.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway utilizing AWS SAM/CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of Fastify v5, TypeBox schema validation, and Swagger documentation.
• Strong background in PostgreSQL, encompassing schema management, query optimization, and TypeORM migrations.
• Experience with microfrontend architecture and single-spa or similar composition methodologies.
• Proficiency in MobX/MobX-State-Tree and TanStack React Query.
• Knowledge of Terraform for AWS infrastructure modules.
• Familiarity with Docker/Docker Compose.
• Understanding of GitLab CI/CD, pipeline authoring, shared templates, and environment management.
• Experience with Jest, Playwright, and K6 for various types of testing, including unit, integration, end-to-end, load, and performance testing.
• Practical experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code, or their equivalents.
• Ability to effectively utilize AI assistants in a large multi-repository codebase, including context management, prompt engineering, and critical assessment of generated outputs.
• Advanced proficiency in English is required; effective communication in English is crucial for collaboration with US clients.
