Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional software solutions across the Rosterfy stack as a member of an expanding SaaS engineering team.

• Design and implement scalable features utilizing Laravel, PHP, React/Next.js, and AWS.

• Play a key role in the evolution of the platform architecture and impact engineering methodologies.

• Collaborate extensively with QA, Product, and Design teams to create user-centric features.

• Develop and enhance APIs, integrations, and reusable components.

• Optimize CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and overall system performance.

• Set an example in code quality, documentation, and peer mentorship.

• Participate in architectural enhancements, technical exploration, feature scoping, and execution of engineering strategies.

• Ensure accessibility and localization for the multi-region SaaS platform.

• Uphold compliance-focused engineering practices, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards.

• Assist in Rosterfy’s transition to version 3, adopting event-driven architecture and domain-driven development.

• Spearhead test strategy and validation; take ownership of test coverage, pipeline health, and regression management.

• Deliver impactful technical contributions, maintain or enhance product quality, influence architectural and engineering standards, and take part in medium-term architectural planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years in building SaaS products from start to finish, preferably in multi-region contexts.

• Proficient in working across the entire stack — from frontend to backend.

• Strong understanding of Laravel (or contemporary PHP frameworks) and modern frontend technologies (React, Next.js, or Vue), XDebug, and unit testing.

• Expertise in both Frontend and Backend Engineering.

• Familiarity with mobile development (React Native).

• Experience in ISO/SOC2 compliant work environments.

• Knowledgeable about accessibility, scalability, and localization for a global audience.

• Comfortable working within cloud-native stacks using AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.

• Experienced in designing within and around a modular monolith architecture.

• Proficient in relational databases (Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL), with a strong emphasis on data modeling for scalability and performance.

• Capable of ensuring feature delivery speed utilizing Copilot, Gemini, test automation, and scaffolding.

• Experienced in creating AI-enhanced product experiences using LLM APIs and prompt design.

• Skilled in coaching others on incorporating GenAI into workflows.

• Lead by example in test strategy and validation.

• Responsible for test coverage, pipeline health, and regression management.
