Senior Fullstack Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance Groove, a comprehensive fullstack platform that facilitates planning, collaboration, and execution throughout Spotify.

• Create and implement features such as initiative tracking, planning workflows, and dependency management.

• Work across the technology stack utilizing React, TypeScript, Java, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to grasp user requirements.

• Ensure system reliability through testing, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement in a production environment.

• Engage in an on-call rotation and assist in addressing production incidents.

• Enhance the performance, scalability, and maintainability of both frontend and backend systems.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity.

• Lead the design and implementation of intricate features across the tech stack.

• Take ownership of issues from start to finish, from requirements gathering to solution delivery.

• Contribute to defining and evolving the architecture for frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

• Provide mentorship to engineers and help elevate the technical standards.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing scalable fullstack applications within production settings.

• Proficient in working with both frontend and backend technologies.

• Familiarity with APIs, distributed systems, and contemporary web application architecture.

• A sense of ownership over the software you develop.

• Experience in designing systems and influencing technical strategies.

• Strong and clear communication abilities.

• Capability to write clean, maintainable code.

• Thoughtful application of AI-assisted development tools.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity with assurance.
