Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust frontend and backend features utilizing React and Node.js.

• Create our fundamental products, such as donation checkouts, embeddable widgets, and donor/partner portals.

• Architect and build system components capable of scaling to handle millions of transactions each month.

• Produce clean, well-documented, and thoroughly testable code.

• Lead architecture and technical design discussions to discover elegant solutions to intricate challenges.

• Guide colleagues by performing insightful code reviews and offering constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to clarify requirements and influence the project roadmap.

• Identify and address bugs, performance issues, and optimization opportunities proactively.

• Regularly integrate AI into daily tasks and enhance fluency as tools progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional fullstack development experience.

• Profound knowledge of modern JavaScript (event loop, closures, promises, prototypes).

• Expert-level skill in React and its ecosystem (familiarity with Vue is advantageous).

• Strong backend proficiency with Node.js (experience with Koa or NestJS is highly desirable).

• Background in Webpack configuration, performance optimization, and profiling.

• A meticulous eye for detail and a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
