Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold robust frontend and backend features using React and Node.js.

• Create our primary products, which encompass donation checkouts, embeddable widgets, and donor/partner portals.

• Architect and engineer system components that can scale to accommodate millions of monthly transactions.

• Produce clean, well-documented, and thoroughly testable code.

• Lead architecture and technical design discussions to uncover elegant solutions for complex challenges.

• Mentor colleagues by conducting insightful code reviews and offering constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to clarify requirements and influence the roadmap.

• Proactively detect and address bugs, performance bottlenecks, and optimization possibilities.

• Utilize AI purposefully in your work and enhance your fluency as tools advance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional fullstack development experience.

• Profound understanding of modern JavaScript (including event loop, closures, promises, and prototypes).

• Expert-level knowledge of React and its ecosystem (familiarity with Vue is an advantage).

• Strong backend proficiency with Node.js (experience with Koa or NestJS is highly desired).

• Experience with Webpack configuration, as well as performance optimization and profiling.

• A meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
