Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead decisions regarding frontend architecture, focusing on component design, state management, performance, and scalability as our platform expands.

• Create and implement interfaces using React and TypeScript for our payments dashboard, reporting surfaces, and embedded product experiences.

• Convert intricate financial workflows into user-friendly and accessible interfaces.

• Assist in establishing and scaling our frontend platform, which includes shared component libraries, tooling, and patterns that the team utilizes.

• Develop and enhance Python APIs that support frontend functionalities.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to define data contracts, API design, and integration methodologies.

• Engage in system design discussions and contribute a product-quality perspective to backend initiatives.

• Establish and uphold frontend best practices, component libraries, and design patterns for an expanding team.

• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews with an emphasis on quality and consistency.

• Work alongside product and design teams to refine requirements and provide constructive feedback when scope or user experience is ambiguous.

• Develop and enhance internal tools utilized by our operations, compliance, and payments teams.

• Maintain high standards of reliability and usability for both external and internal interfaces.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend ownership.

• Extensive production experience with React and TypeScript, as these are the key skills for this role.

• Sufficient backend knowledge to independently build and extend APIs, with a preference for Python experience.

• Proven ability to manage features from start to finish, covering the data layer to the user interface.

• Experience working in a collaborative team environment with shared codebases and a culture of code review.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
