Senior Fullstack Engineer – Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Develop the initial V1 product through greenfield MVP creation and architecture.

• Create a versatile, white-label React application.

• Construct a backend system to transfer data into both the white-label solution and internal data systems.

• Deliver a trust accounting subsystem that is secure, scalable, and auditable, meeting high-quality standards.

• Aid in refining early-stage processes to enhance delivery speed, system reliability, and team autonomy.

• Advocate for engineering practices that prioritize quality, resilience, and observability.

• Provide technical insights during discussions and decision-making, promoting transparency and accountability.

• Set up initial frontend CI/CD pipelines to facilitate independent deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer, including at least 2 years in a Senior Engineer capacity.

• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, with a strong preference for extensive frontend experience using React.

• Proven experience in designing and developing white-label solutions.

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles.

• Established track record of working within engineering teams in product-oriented environments, preferably in SaaS or platform businesses.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially in distributed or remote teams.

• Comfortable operating in agile environments with rapidly changing priorities and cross-functional teams.

• Experience with accounting or ledger products is a considerable advantage.
