Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – TypeScript, Node

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to connect company systems with third-party data providers and services.

• Create and implement scalable SaaS integrations using contemporary backend technologies.

• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices utilizing TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.

• Enhance and develop frontend features using React or similar modern frameworks.

• Manage secure data transfers and synchronization between various internal and external systems.

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and provide support for third-party integrations to ensure optimal reliability and performance.

• Contribute to architectural decisions for both frontend and backend systems.

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code adhering to TDD principles.

• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban).

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in both frontend and backend settings.

• Strong expertise in Node.js, with NestJS as a preferred skill.

• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React, though Angular or Vue are also acceptable.

• Proficient in HTML and CSS.

• Experience with SQL-based databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.

• Knowledge in building and utilizing GraphQL and REST APIs.

• Solid understanding of unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Experience with service-oriented or microservices architectures.

• Proficiency in Git and contemporary version control practices.

• **Desirable Extras:**

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or alternatives like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with SRE best practices, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and conducting post-mortems.

• Experience with other cloud providers such as GCP or Azure.

• Knowledge or experience in financial systems or Fintech environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
