Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineers from the Product and Network and Agent Experience teams to design, develop, and sustain features for Proof's customers and users.

• Write high-quality code with a significant level of autonomy, adhering to performance and reliability standards.

• Utilize AI tools in daily coding, reviewing, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and provide a superior experience for our customers.

• Lead project scoping activities and engage in discussions regarding requirements and trade-offs.

• Diagnose complex technical issues in production related to the areas under the team's responsibility.

• Promote improvements, collaboration, and best practices through code reviews and mentoring initiatives.

• Proactively develop and maintain technical documentation.

• Participate in the production on-call rotation several times a year, following comprehensive training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing complex, customer-facing web applications using Ruby on Rails and React.

• Preference for candidates with experience in electronic signature, identity verification, or online notarization products.

• Familiarity with regulated or compliance-intensive product environments is a plus.

• A strong focus on quality and a passion for writing unit and integration tests.

• An eagerness to learn about any part of the tech stack, including back-end services, data layers, web interfaces, APIs, third-party integrations, and cloud infrastructure.

• Adaptability to new technologies and opportunities is essential.

• A sense of ownership over the code you produce, from technical design to production deployment.

• A proactive approach towards action and solutions.

• Ability to work independently on well-defined problems while recognizing when to seek assistance.

• Strong communication and active listening skills, with a collaborative mindset towards problem-solving.
