
Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Collaborate across functions β Partner with engineering, data science, and product teams to assess requirements, define project scopes, estimate efforts, and prioritize initiatives that provide tangible value.
β’ Create, develop, and sustain web applications β Provide value for our clients, both external and internal.
β’ Large-scale data ingestion β Construct pipelines to process millions of records from various sources (Jira, Github, payroll systems, accounting software, etc.) in a reliable and efficient manner.
β’ Data modeling β Develop flexible schemas that accommodate diverse company types, industries, and business processes.
β’ Integrations β Interpret API documentation, establish integrations with third-party systems, and manage the unique challenges of external data sources.
β’ Customer-facing features β Deliver functionalities that assist finance teams in executing their monthly capitalization workflows.
β’ Internal tools β Create tools that enhance team operations and facilitate system debugging.
β’ Automated testing and deployment β Design and uphold processes to guarantee robust systems.
β’ Code Review β Evaluate the code of fellow engineers and provide timely, constructive feedback to maintain high standards of quality.
β’ Resolve critical issues β Identify root causes and eliminate recurrence through durable engineering solutions.
β’ Bachelor's or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
β’ Over 7 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
β’ Strong expertise in TypeScript.
β’ Extensive knowledge of databases, including ORMs, SQL, and relational databases.
β’ Proficient in NodeJS and related frameworks.
β’ Solid understanding of distributed systems (e.g., asynchronous data processing pipelines).
β’ Experience with React or similar frameworks utilizing one-way data binding paradigms.
β’ Capability to design and implement solutions independently, without AI assistance.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
β’ Bonus: Familiarity with GraphQL, GCP, AWS, or Azure, DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Terraform), automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end, black box, mocking, etc.), and experience in early-stage, venture-backed startups.
