Senior Full Stack Engineer – TypeScript, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features utilizing TypeScript.

• Create frontend interfaces and reusable components using React.

• Develop and sustain backend services and APIs with Node.js and Express.

• Work with PostgreSQL for data persistence, querying, and data management.

• Contribute to the development and upkeep of a three-tier application architecture.

• Engage with containerized applications through Docker.

• Develop and manage solutions within an AWS environment.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues across the frontend, backend, database, and application integrations.

• Participate in technical discussions and provide input on software architecture decisions as needed.

• Collaborate with the CI/CD and infrastructure teams on troubleshooting and enhancements.

• Conduct code reviews and advocate for development best practices, code quality, and maintainability.

• Collaborate efficiently with a distributed team spanning Mexico and the United States.

• Take ownership of features from implementation to successful integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• Extensive experience as a Full Stack Engineer, actively participating in both frontend and backend development.

• Strong practical proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Solid experience in building modern web applications using React.

• Experience in developing backend services and APIs with Node.js, ideally utilizing Express.

• Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Hands-on experience with applications or services deployed on AWS.

• Practical experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues across various application layers.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to take ownership of technical challenges.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members in the United States.

• Experience or interest in Web3/Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence integrations is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Nice to have: Experience with Drizzle ORM or other ORMs within the TypeScript ecosystem.

• Nice to have: Experience with Tailwind CSS and/or Radix UI.

• Nice to have: Practical knowledge of CI/CD, deployments, and pipeline troubleshooting.

• Nice to have: Experience contributing to software architecture and technical design discussions.

• Nice to have: Experience with Redis.

• Nice to have: Knowledge or previous experience in Web3, Blockchain, or Solana.

• Nice to have: Exposure to AI-powered integrations or solutions.
