Senior Full-Stack Engineer, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive product features within a modern Next.js and React application.

• Create and enhance shared component libraries and design tokens for both light and dark themes.

• Manage the server tier connecting the browser and platform, covering request proxying, session handling, and secure credential management.

• Implement OIDC authentication, JWT claim verification, session expiration, and role-based UI authorization.

• Oversee the generated TypeScript SDK, code-generation pipeline, compatibility checks, and API drift detection.

• Collaborate with backend teams to establish efficient API contracts.

• Build robust data-layer functionalities such as caching, invalidation, optimistic updates, pagination, and managing loading/error states.

• Conduct component tests and Playwright end-to-end tests in live environments.

• Maintain accessibility standards, responsive behavior, and optimal web performance.

• Integrate the application with error tracking, product analytics, feature flags, and structured logging.

• Review code, troubleshoot production issues to identify root causes, enhance regression coverage, and mentor junior engineers.

• Work in collaboration with distributed teams across North America, Europe, and Asia.

• Lead frontend feature development from design to production deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Extensive production experience with TypeScript and modern React methodologies.

• In-depth understanding of Next.js architecture, including server/client component delineation, caching techniques, and server-side rendering.

• Full-stack experience with ownership of server-side code and API proxies.

• Proficiency in implementing OAuth2/OIDC flows, JWT verification, and secure cookie/session management.

• Experience in managing complex application state and synchronizing server states.

• Strong foundation in CSS architecture and design-system practices.

• Familiarity with utility-first CSS, scalable theming, and accessible component APIs based on headless primitives.

• Testing experience across unit, component, and end-to-end layers, including network mocking and CI integration.

• Experience working within a monorepo utilizing shared packages and a task-graph build system.

• Excellent written English skills for producing design documents, code review comments, and facilitating asynchronous global collaboration.

• Production experience with TypeScript, React 19, Next.js App Router, and Node.js 22+.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS v4, Base UI or Radix, CVA, design tokens, and theming.

• Experience with TanStack Query, Zod validation, and OpenAPI-generated TypeScript clients.

• Proficiency in OIDC/JWT session handling, cookie security, and role-based access control.

• Familiarity with Vitest, Testing Library, MSW, and Playwright.

• Experience with pnpm workspaces, Turborepo, ESLint, Prettier, and GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of error tracking, product analytics, and Docker-packaged deployment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field, or 10 years of relevant experience.
