Senior Full-Stack Engineer – React Native, Next.js, Backend, Product Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and enhance mobile, web, and backend functionalities throughout the product stack.

• Engage with React Native mobile applications, Next.js web platforms, and backend infrastructures utilizing Python/Django and PHP.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to convert requirements into dependable, user-centric solutions.

• Troubleshoot and rectify issues across the entire stack, including mobile, web, APIs, integrations, performance, and production bugs.

• Enhance application performance, stability, and cross-platform behavior on both iOS and Android devices.

• Conduct code reviews, provide actionable feedback, and help uphold high engineering standards within the team.

• Familiarize yourself with unfamiliar segments of the codebase, implement safe modifications, and enhance maintainability over time.

• Make practical technical decisions concerning architecture, APIs, state management, testing, deployment, and long-term code quality.

• Utilize modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, judiciously to accelerate progress without sacrificing quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Robust full-stack engineering capabilities encompassing frontend, backend, APIs, databases, debugging, and deployment.

• Strong proficiency in React Native, React, Next.js, and TypeScript, or the capacity to quickly become productive in these technologies.

• Solid backend experience, preferably with Python/Django and PHP, or equivalent experience with similar backend frameworks.

• Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases, troubleshoot intricate issues, and implement safe modifications within production systems.

• Proficient in responsibly utilizing AI development tools while ensuring thorough review, testing, and comprehension of the generated code.

• Deep understanding of architecture, maintainability, trade-offs, performance, security, and long-term code quality.

• Capability to take ownership of ambiguous technical challenges and transform them into dependable, deliverable solutions.
