Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Modern Backend, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain features throughout the client's product portfolio.

• Create and support modern frontend applications utilizing React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Develop and integrate backend services, RESTful APIs, and data-driven applications.

• Utilize relational databases and SQL to ensure product functionality and support data-intensive systems.

• Leverage AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Review and assess AI-generated code for quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, research, design, data, and QA teams.

• Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and API tests.

• Engage in code reviews, documentation, CI/CD workflows, and production readiness initiatives.

• Contribute to scalable data visualization experiences and enhance engineering practices.

• Ensure software is secure, observable, maintainable, and aligned with product and business priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in developing production software using Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another modern backend language.

• 1+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• 1+ years of professional experience in building applications with React.

• 3+ years of experience in writing SQL and working with relational databases.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including code generation, testing, debugging, and optimization.

• Ability to assess AI-generated output and identify quality, security, and data governance risks.

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering, including software design, data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.

• Capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver dependable production software.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (desirable).

• Familiarity with Java and Spring/Spring Boot (desirable).

• Exposure to C#/.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, or Oracle (desirable).

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar technologies (desirable).

• Background in automated unit, integration, and API testing (desirable).

• Familiarity with CI/CD and production deployment practices (desirable).

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or AWS (desirable).

• Exposure to Snowflake or BigQuery (desirable).

• Experience in modernizing legacy applications (desirable).

• Background in data-intensive applications, analytics, visualization, and AI-enabled products (desirable).
