Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Fully Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable and secure applications that empower millions to learn about cybersecurity.

• Transform ambiguous product challenges from initial concept through design, implementation, and deployment into production.

• Create scalable, reliable, and secure RESTful APIs along with contemporary frontend interfaces.

• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to craft effective solutions.

• Take full ownership of features from database schema development to user interface refinement.

• Participate in code reviews and engage in discussions regarding system design.

• Guide and mentor fellow engineers to enhance the quality of the team.

• Validate solutions through data analysis, user feedback, and experimentation.

• Develop enterprise SSO, detailed RBAC, licensing engines, syllabus mapping, and skill analytics within the B2B team.

• Create progression mechanics, leagues, streaks, personalized discovery, and A/B tests within the Engagement team.

• Optimize Stripe payment infrastructure, cloud VM delivery tools, internal support systems, and platform performance in the Platform team.

• Build certification programs and collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Content Engineering teams in the Certification team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial full-stack experience in developing production-level SaaS applications.

• Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.

• Understanding of MongoDB and SQL fundamentals.

• Familiarity with modern AI development tools such as Cursor and Claude.

• Technical acumen to critically assess and test AI-generated code.

• Capability to work with a high degree of ownership and autonomy in fast-paced settings.

• Skill in clearly articulating complex technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical team members.

• Strong interest in cybersecurity, online education, or an active TryHackMe profile is a plus.

• Must be based in the UK or EU with significant overlap with UK business hours.
