Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Frontend Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the front-end architecture from start to finish for a new product: evaluate existing components, determine what to retain and what to redesign, and execute the construction.

• Create and develop the user interface for a customer-oriented product, emphasizing genuine product insight and user experience, rather than merely technical implementation.

• Develop and sustain the front-end (we prefer TypeScript, but your experience is more critical than an exact technology match).

• Contribute to backend tasks as necessary: possess a solid understanding of databases, data structures, and overall system architecture to effectively build and reason about APIs (Node.js or Go, technology-agnostic).

• Embrace true end-to-end responsibility: suggest the strategy, advocate for it, and then execute it, without waiting for guidance from others.

• Work within a fully AI-integrated workflow, utilizing tools like Claude Code as an essential component of your shipping process, rather than as an occasional support.

• Function effectively in a small, dynamic, and uncertain setting where priorities can change, and you are often responsible for defining the "how," rather than simply following a predetermined plan.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundational knowledge in front-end development: you understand the core principles thoroughly and can make significant architectural decisions, not just apply someone else's design.

• Genuine product and UX understanding: possess a discerning eye for quality, ideally having developed for actual end users on a true customer-facing product, rather than solely internal or B2B applications.

• Versatile across the technology stack: solid understanding of backend principles (databases, data structures, overall system design), even though your primary focus is front-end.

• Technology agnostic: experienced with various tech stacks and able to adapt to whatever this team requires. Your track record is more important than the specific technologies you've worked with.

• True sense of ownership: a background in launching initiatives from the ground up, not just executing projects defined by others.

• Experience in a startup environment, ideally in a genuinely chaotic setting: comfortable with shifting priorities and ambiguous responsibilities. If your background is solely in organizations with clear roadmaps and well-defined scopes, this may not be the right position for you.

• Strong proficiency with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code): integrate AI into your workflow as a fundamental aspect of your development process, rather than as a sporadic aid.
