Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Back-End Leaning, Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Design and take ownership of Amplify's back-end service layer, providing comprehensive architectural guidance throughout the engineering team.

• Develop the shared trigger and notification engine, LMS backend, pricing services, and pairing/scoring services that drive Amplify's core product experiences.

• Create and uphold a secure multi-tenant architecture, guaranteeing strict tenant isolation and privacy across queries, triggers, notifications, and usage data.

• Specify API contracts for front-end applications and data pipelines, while making informed build-versus-reuse decisions across the existing Saga platform.

• Lead technical planning by breaking down the roadmap, reviewing code for both frontend and data engineering, and steering architectural choices.

• Ensure the platform is production-ready, observable, secure, and scalable as Amplify expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of backend and full-stack engineering experience, with substantial production expertise in TypeScript/Node.js or similar technologies.

• Proven experience in building event-driven systems utilizing queues or streams, as well as rules engines, trigger engines, or notification infrastructure.

• Extensive experience in designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms, emphasizing strict tenant isolation and privacy-by-design principles.

• Background in leading or serving as the technical owner within a small engineering team, encompassing architecture, code reviews, and roadmap development.

• Familiarity with usage-based scoring or recommendation logic, LMS or workflow products, and cloud platforms like Azure is highly advantageous.

• Strong engineering judgment with the capability to balance scalability, security, maintainability, and timely product delivery.
