Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical discovery, scoping, and execution of intricate features while collaborating effectively with Product, Design, QA, and business stakeholders.

• Take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle. Decompose large initiatives into actionable engineering milestones and guide the team towards successful delivery.

• Serve as a strong, proactive communicator capable of translating complex technical challenges into clear business outcomes for non-technical partners.

• Advocate for high engineering standards by conducting thorough code reviews, engaging in architectural discussions, and mentoring mid-level and junior engineers.

• Operate with a significant degree of autonomy on the frontend, allowing you to interpret loose product requirements and quickly iterate on user interfaces without the need for exhaustive, pixel-perfect specifications from the design team for every modification.

• Construct and maintain high-performance frontend applications utilizing React, TypeScript, and React Query.

• Support and contribute to our React Native mobile applications.

• Apply strong product intuition and UX sensibilities to create clean, logical, and user-friendly flows using component libraries like Tailwind or MUI.

• Design, build, and optimize robust REST APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).

• Develop and refine clean database models, schemas, and complex migrations.

• Utilize LLMs and AI tools, specifically Claude and Claude Code, to enhance development workflows and create innovative, automated features.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and scale production services deployed via Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Datadog and logging best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience with a proven record of leading technical projects and cross-functional initiatives.

• Strong product and design intuition, enabling you to independently build and refine interfaces while leveraging component frameworks to deliver exceptional user experiences swiftly without relying on design assistance.

• In-depth expertise in Python, Django models, and Django REST Framework (DRF) for creating production-grade REST APIs.

• Extensive experience with modern React, state management through React Query, and TypeScript.

• Proficient in writing optimized queries, designing schemas, and managing database migrations.

• Experience employing AI assistance, particularly Claude and Claude Code, to efficiently write, test, refactor, and optimize code.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build consensus across various teams.
