Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive product features utilizing Go and Node.js/Express for backend and React for frontend.

• Daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor/Copilot/ClaudeCode to enhance delivery speed, refactoring, and test generation, while ensuring code cleanliness and validating outputs.

• Architect backend services employing DDD patterns, bounded contexts, aggregates, domain events, clean layering, and practical architecture.

• Create and manage data models and migrations in PostgreSQL and MongoDB using GORM, Mongoose, or appropriate raw queries.

• Develop and uphold REST APIs and webhooks/event-driven workflows using Go and Node.js/Express.

• Implement React (TypeScript) frontend workflows encompassing dashboards, administrative tasks, status lifecycles, and audit perspectives.

• Guarantee accuracy and observability through structured logging, metrics, tracing, and robust error handling suitable for production.

• Contribute to security best practices, including RBAC, least-privilege access, secure secrets management, and audit trails.

• Take ownership of quality through unit/integration tests, contract tests, and CI pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in building production systems with Go and/or the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), along with substantial React expertise.

• Strong foundational knowledge in backend development: concurrency, APIs, reliability, and debugging.

• Practical experience with DDD (beyond theoretical knowledge): capable of modeling domains and maintaining clean boundaries.

• Proficient database skills across PostgreSQL and MongoDB: schema/collection design, indexing, query optimization, and migrations.

• Familiarity with GORM and/or Mongoose (or similar ORMs/ODMs) and the ability to utilize raw SQL or aggregation pipelines when necessary.

• Frontend expertise in React (TypeScript preferred), including state management and form-intensive administrative UIs.

• Strong testing discipline, including Go testing, Jest/Vitest, integration tests, and basic frontend testing.

• MANDATORY: confident daily utilization of AI coding tools (Cursor/Copilot/etc.) with disciplined verification and secure practices.

• Nice to have: Experience with event-driven patterns such as outbox, retries, idempotency, and background jobs.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with RBAC/policy engines, audit logs, and fintech/compliance workflows.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.

• Nice to have: Ownership of CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI) and release workflows.

• Nice to have: Experience with high-security systems (custody, payments, identity).

• A sense of ownership: deliver features end-to-end while maintaining high quality.
