Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement high-quality applications and microservices, taking ownership of backend architecture and coding standards.

• Collaborate closely with fellow developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams (including client teams) to transform requirements into refined technical solutions.

• Utilize modern .NET stacks and AI tools to refactor and upgrade legacy components.

• Manage database operations and backend service interactions within cloud environments.

• Produce clean, maintainable code, perform comprehensive code reviews, mentor other developers, and share your expertise.

• Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems to ensure peak performance, responsiveness, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in professional software development, with a minimum of 5 years specifically concentrating on .NET and Angular.

• Strong foundational knowledge in backend development and extensive hands-on experience with MS SQL Server.

• Proficient in Docker and AWS environments (ECS, S3).

• Advanced daily usage of AI tools - including prompting, validating AI-generated outputs, and managing AI coding agents (experience with Claude AI is advantageous).

• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture, database management, and backend microservice interactions.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, security best practices (such as web tokens and OAuth), Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.

• Bonus points for:

• Experience in modernizing legacy codebases (.NET Framework, Visual Basic).
