Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Develop and deliver features across both frontend and backend systems.

• Transition effortlessly between Next.js, SvelteKit, and Hono based on project requirements.

• Utilize Postgres as the main data layer, focusing on schema design and query optimization.

• Employ TypeScript throughout the stack—using React/Svelte for the frontend and Hono/Node.js for backend services.

• Contribute to Python services when relevant.

• Draft technical specifications that outline APIs, data models, and UI behavior prior to coding.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance both speed and code quality.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to transform requirements into functioning software.

• Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical planning sessions.

• Enhance the developer experience through improved tooling, comprehensive documentation, and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience in both frontend and backend development.

• Proficiency in various frameworks, allowing you to quickly adapt without strong attachments; moving between Next.js, SvelteKit, and Hono feels intuitive.

• Expertise in TypeScript, which is your primary programming language.

• Familiarity with multiple frontend frameworks (such as React, Svelte, and Vue) without preference for a single one.

• Knowledge of lightweight API frameworks like Hono, Express, or Fastify.

• Extensive experience with Postgres, including understanding of indexing, query optimization, and schema design.

• Awareness of event-driven architectures and message queuing systems.

• Regular use of AI coding assistants, having developed workflows that enhance your efficiency.

• Practical experience with advanced LLMs beyond basic prompting techniques.

• A specification-driven mindset, ensuring precise definitions of projects before commencing development.

• Experience with Expo/React Native.

• Background in GraphQL, serverless architectures, or ClickHouse.

• Experience in real estate, marketplaces, or consumer products.

• Contributions to internal tooling or enhancements in developer productivity.
