Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee scalable, highly available applications and services.

• Assist in the development of product features and accommodate increasing traffic.

• Deliver a consistent and effective platform experience for users.

• Ensure the resilience of the customer-facing platform.

• Develop new application code to support product features.

• Collaborate with the team to achieve product objectives and technical roadmaps.

• Create user-facing product features utilizing Elixir and Go for backend services, along with React for frontend development.

• Build and enhance the billing and usage platform that supports all Mux products.

• Focus on identity and account management product features.

• Work on distributed notifications, which include application webhooks and alerting functionalities.

• Take responsibility for critical product infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience.

• Strong engineering capabilities across diverse platforms and environments.

• Solid foundation in engineering principles.

• Proven track record of addressing complex challenges, including job scheduling, concurrency, and scalability.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.

• Experience in building REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Elixir, Go, Python, Ruby, Node, or other general-purpose programming languages.

• Experience in deploying intricate applications on cloud platforms utilizing a container orchestration platform like Kubernetes.

• Experience working with SQL databases.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly collaborative settings across various domains.

• Video experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Must be eligible to work in the US.
