Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain scalable backend services, distributed systems, and APIs that power the AgentControl product.

• Create the web application utilized daily by customers and the distributed systems that facilitate AI evaluations at scale.

• Utilize Go, Python, and TypeScript, in conjunction with AWS, CockroachDB, Datadog, DeepEval, and FastAPI.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams at LaunchDarkly to identify real-world challenges and enhance GenAI workflows.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in AI and best practices in software development.

• Enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Lead architecture and design discussions while assessing technical trade-offs.

• Take responsibility for production code, engage in on-call rotations, and enhance reliability and maintainability.

• Assist team members through design reviews, knowledge sharing, and informal mentorship.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven record of delivering production-quality full-stack features.

• Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine-tuning models, or deploying AI services in a production setting.

• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.

• Proficient in writing production-ready code with a focus on quality and maintainability.

• Experience with distributed systems or data ingestion.

• Strong foundation in computer science principles.

• Dedicated to working in a communicative and collaborative environment.

• Comfortable tackling ambiguous challenges in a rapidly changing field and eager to remain at the cutting edge of AI developments.

• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering meaningful solutions.

• Proven capability to collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to establish requirements for new features in a fast-paced iterative setting.

• Hands-on experience in developing GenAI features, Agents, and/or working with Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.

• Familiarity with Go, Python, TypeScript, AWS, CockroachDB, Datadog, DeepEval, and FastAPI.

• Must reside in the United States.
