Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish a Scalable Foundation: Lead the design, implementation, and upkeep of APIs and microservices that facilitate robust functionality and seamless integrations.

• Master Full Stack Development: Acquire hands-on experience in frontend development using Angular and backend development with Go, while optimizing cloud infrastructure for effective scaling.

• Foster Mentorship & Maintain a Standard of Excellence: Guide fellow software engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team efficiency and uphold quality coding standards.

• Integrate Generative AI Innovations: Embed generative AI into our agency management software, enhancing usability and efficiency to create intuitive user experiences.

• Challenge the Status Quo: Promote the exploration of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve our platform for superior user outcomes.

• Steer Strategic Decisions: Assess priorities, options, and trade-offs to guide critical development choices.

• Collaborate with a Dedicated Team of Professionals: Work in close partnership with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, align objectives, and deliver features that surpass expectations.

• Ensure Enduring Quality: Design and uphold comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain high software reliability standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience in software engineering roles focused on modern architectures and frameworks.

• Proficient in at least one reactive JavaScript framework, such as Angular, React, or Vue.

• Skilled in backend development, with expertise in Go, NodeJS, or Python (Go experience is strongly preferred).

• Proficient in PostgreSQL/MongoDB.

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.

• Familiarity with high-performance SaaS solutions built on microservices and serverless architectures.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Adaptable team player.

• Capable of organizing and planning work independently.

• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

• Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence is a bonus.

• Experience in healthcare and familiarity with HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards is an advantage.
