Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop features from start to finish, encompassing REST APIs, single-page applications, and foundational data models.

• Design solutions on a cloud platform utilizing containers and stateless services.

• Collaborate with the team to address architectural inquiries.

• Convert product requests into actionable work items and implement them.

• Review pull requests from teammates on a weekly basis.

• Deliver code that adheres to the team’s established patterns.

• Create relational database schemas and queries while considering performance factors.

• Ensure patient data protection, maintaining a zero PHI policy in development environments.

• Operate within a trunk-based workflow featuring short-lived branches and daily progress updates.

• Release results two to three times per week, aiming for first-time acceptance and minimal rework.

• Work closely with product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience in a contemporary programming language, focusing on building REST APIs and single-page applications.

• Proficient understanding of cloud technologies, including containers and the development of stateless applications.

• Extensive experience in relational database development.

• Familiarity with a version-controlled development environment.

• Quick learner able to become effective in unfamiliar technology stacks within weeks.

• Capability to identify root causes and pose clarifying questions.

• Ability to make autonomous decisions and exercise sound judgment.

• Comfortable with abstractions, stateless design, and containerized environments.

• Strong commitment to data ethics and appropriate handling of production data.

• Willingness to accept and act on feedback from code reviews.

• Eagerness to adopt team practices and engage in early design discussions.

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Preferred: experience with trunk-based development.

• Preferred: knowledge of Python, React, and Postgres.

• Preferred: familiarity with agentic or AI-assisted coding tools.

• Preferred: experience working in a high-compliance setting, whether in healthcare or other industries.
