Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive features encompassing an Angular front end, a .NET Core middle tier, and a SQL Server data tier within a live clinical platform.

• Convert clinical workflow specifications into functional screens, APIs, and data access mechanisms that adhere to performance standards under actual load.

• Take ownership of features that involve protected health information, ensuring they remain in-house.

• Establish the technical direction for a small team and review pull requests.

• Collaborate with the client’s engineers to ensure contributed code integrates seamlessly into their codebase.

• Engage with product and clinical stakeholders to clarify ambiguous requirements.

• Lead a small full-stack team through the phases of specification, development, and production deployment.

• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and uphold coding, testing, and security standards.

• Mentor team engineers, including those offshore working with synthetic data.

• Create responsive and accessible Angular 15+ interfaces utilizing TypeScript and RxJS.

• Design and implement .NET 8 REST APIs featuring claims-based authorization, EF Core, and hand-written T-SQL.

• Implement behavior for clinical pathways, cohorts, and campaign flags driven by configuration and rules without requiring code deployment.

• Achieve page-latency and concurrency targets, and instrument code to identify regressions.

• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, maintaining them within the pipeline.

• Ensure compliance with practical WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards.

• Collaborate with the Senior Application Architect on system design and technical decisions.

• Work alongside the client’s architect, product managers, and clinical stakeholders to address outstanding requirements.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, oversee database migration gating, and ensure release readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Native or bilingual fluency in both written and spoken English.

• Over 7 years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated leadership in development teams.

• More than 7 years of experience in building web applications and web APIs using .NET Framework and .NET Core.

• Expert proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core Web API.

• Advanced skills in SQL Server, including EF Core, hand-written T-SQL, index-aware query design, and execution plan analysis.

• Proficient in Angular 15+ with TypeScript and RxJS, including expertise in state management, change-detection optimization, and component-library design.

• Strong skills in REST API design, encompassing claims-based authorization, versioning, and third-party integration.

• Proven experience in developing rules-driven or configuration-driven features.

• Familiarity with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing as a standard practice, with experience in maintaining green CI suites.

• Practical experience in implementing WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility.

• Working knowledge of distributed caching using Redis and application performance instrumentation.

• Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other regulated sectors is advantageous.

• Familiarity with HL7 FHIR R4 is a plus.

• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines is beneficial.
