Senior Full Stack Engineer – AEM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and release notes utilizing agentic tools as standard practice.

• Establish and manage repository context, rules files, reusable prompts, skills, MCP integrations, and sub-agent frameworks.

• Leverage AI for understanding legacy code, creating content and data migration scripts, generating tests, performing regression triage, and documentation.

• Thoroughly assess AI-generated outputs and take responsibility for the quality of delivered work.

• Design and create components, templates, and Sling Models for AEM Sites across both authoring and delivery tiers.

• Configure and enhance AEM Assets and Content Hub, including DAM workflows and metadata schemas.

• Develop and sustain Java backend services that integrate AEM with CRM and enterprise systems.

• Create frontend experiences using React JS or a comparable framework that adhere to design-system and accessibility standards.

• Implement AEM Headless solutions utilizing Content Fragments and GraphQL.

• Organize content with Schema.org markup to enhance search and AI discoverability.

• Execute and manage Adobe Analytics integration, ensuring data layers and tracking precision.

• Oversee Dispatcher and CDN caching, cache invalidation, page weight, and performance metrics related to Core Web Vitals.

• Operate and deploy within AEM as a Cloud Service using Cloud Manager pipelines and Dispatcher configuration.

• Uphold version control practices, branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes.

• Design and maintain automated testing suites using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

• Assist with security and penetration testing cycles and address identified issues.

• Take ownership of features from technical design through build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

• Directly engage with client stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and focus on continuous improvement.

• Mentor engineers and aid in establishing AEM delivery standards, reusable patterns, and AI playbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven, current, daily experience with AI and agentic coding tools like Claude, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.

• Capability to structure repository context, rules, reusable prompts, skills, MCP integrations, and sub-agent frameworks.

• 6–8+ years of experience in full stack software engineering.

• A minimum of 4 years focused on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

• Experience in developing AEM Sites components and templates for both frontend and backend.

• Understanding of Sling Models, HTL/Sightly, client libraries, OSGi services, workflow models, and JCR content modeling.

• Familiarity with AEM Assets and Content Hub, including DAM workflows and metadata governance.

• Experience with AEM Headless, Content Fragments, GraphQL, and Schema.org markup.

• Strong proficiency in core Java (Java 8+), Spring, and RESTful API design.

• Experience integrating with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Dynamics.

• Knowledge of Adobe Analytics data layer implementation and tracking.

• Proficiency in React JS or similar frameworks like Angular or Vue.

• Experience with component-based design systems and adherence to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

• Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager pipelines, Dispatcher, CDN, DNS, and environment topology.

• Test automation experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

• Basic knowledge of security testing and experience with penetration testing, including remediation strategies.

• Proven end-to-end delivery ownership in Agile teams and active involvement in Scrum ceremonies.

• Experience in a client-facing consulting role or agency environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• At least one relevant Adobe Certification, such as AEM Sites Developer or AEM Developer.

• Ability to adopt an AI-first approach and provide specific examples during application and live exercises.
