Senior Full Stack Developer, Laravel, Vue.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development of the next generation of ZEP products as a Senior Fullstack Developer (Laravel for the backend, Vue.js with Inertia for the frontend)

• Contributing to our new AI products and establishing agentic workflows

• Making architectural decisions for a scalable, AI-driven platform, from data modeling to API

• Gradual modernization of legacy structures, AI-supported migration from the legacy PHP system to the new platform

• Conducting code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and actively promoting best practices within the squad

• Acting as a sparring partner for developers, UI/UX designers, product managers, and the Co-CEO in technical and strategic decisions

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in web or fullstack development, preferably in B2B SaaS

• You think in systems and architectures, not just individual features

• A sense of responsibility, team player qualities, and experience in agile setups

• Excellent German language skills; good English skills are a plus

• AI-native toolset (which you actively use): Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI IDEs as daily drivers for backend and frontend

• Conceptualization, code reviews, and refactoring

• Experience with Claude Design, Figma Make, or similar tools for rapid prototyping

• Familiarity with the Anthropic API or comparable LLM APIs in production applications

• Understanding of MCP, agentic workflows, tool use, and custom GPTs

• Technical expertise: Strong knowledge of Laravel and a deep understanding of PHP, even in the context of legacy systems

• Proficient in Vue.js and the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem

• Experience with Inertia.js and developing modern SPA-like applications based on Laravel

• Proficient in using Vite, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)

• Solid understanding of clean architectures, clean code, domain-driven design, and maintainable software

• Bonus: Experience with Electron, desktop applications, or performance optimization in databases (MySQL/Postgres)
