Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Engage in project research and discovery activities, encompassing field research and user interviews.

• Spearhead technical discovery initiatives and produce associated artifacts such as diagrams and documentation.

• Deliver comprehensive solution designs derived from a shared understanding gained during discovery.

• Design and develop features for exemplar projects that align with product-owner requirements and enhance the experiences of Albertans.

• Identify and rectify both functional and non-functional defects.

• Improve the quality of solution code, tooling, and documentation to ensure maintainability.

• Collaborate with frontend designers to provide consistently designed solutions.

• Offer guidance and insight to product owners regarding technical efforts and implementation strategies.

• Assist in the deployment and launch of solutions for both limited and general availability.

• Contribute reusable components and capabilities to a platform of user-centric services.

• Facilitate the onboarding of technical team members.

• Maintain technical documentation and enhance team development and quality practices and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level Full Stack Developer.

• Capacity to work across two to three projects simultaneously.

• Experience in contributing to field research and conducting user interviews.

• Proven ability to lead technical discovery and generate diagrams and documentation.

• Proficiency in creating detailed solution designs based on findings from discovery.

• Capability to develop features for digital service projects.

• Skill in identifying and rectifying functional and non-functional defects.

• Expertise in enhancing code quality, tooling, and documentation for better maintainability.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with frontend designers.

• Competence in advising product owners on technical efforts and implementation options.

• Proficiency in supporting solution deployment and launching initiatives.

• Focus on reuse in solution design and implementation.

• Ability to contribute reusable common components and capabilities.

• Experience in onboarding technical team members and maintaining technical documentation.

• Commitment to adopting and improving team development and quality practices and processes.
