Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable applications for both backend and frontend environments.

• Take ownership of architectural decisions for production systems.

• Create reliable server-to-browser interactions and provide real-time user experiences.

• Craft PostgreSQL data models that consider transactions, locks, constraints, and performance factors.

• Implement Redis in production settings for caching, pub/sub messaging, and distributed locking.

• Develop and manage WebSocket-based features that cater to high levels of concurrent activity.

• Oversee payment integrations, including subscriptions, refunds, and dependable webhook processing.

• Innovate and deploy LLM-powered functionalities for external clients.

• Troubleshoot production issues where defects may lead to financial losses, data integrity problems, service interruptions, or other significant impacts.

• Utilize LLM-based development tools judiciously to enhance engineering efficiency and code quality.

• Clearly communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs to company leadership and various stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer/Developer.

• Proficient English communication skills with the capability to clearly express technical decisions.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in designing and developing full-stack production applications using Node.js & TypeScript or Python, React (or similar), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, Git, npm/pip.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in designing and optimizing relational databases, covering transactions, concurrency, locking, schema design, constraints, indexing, and performance tuning using PostgreSQL, SQL, and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).

• At least 3 years of production experience in implementing distributed caching, messaging, and synchronization using Redis, Pub/Sub, Distributed Locks, In-Memory Data Stores, and developing WebSocket-based real-time applications over TCP/IP.

• A minimum of 3 years of production experience in payment processing, subscriptions, refunds, and reliable webhook handling using Stripe (or equivalent Payment Gateway), REST APIs, HTTPS, JSON, and webhooks.

• At least 2 years of experience in developing and releasing production-ready AI-powered features utilizing LLM APIs, AI SDKs, and Prompt Engineering tools, supporting complete end-to-end application development.
