This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Write high-quality production code, design scalable platform functionalities, and establish the technical standards for team development.
• Deliver reusable platform functionalities such as unlocked packages, shared Apex and LWC libraries, custom metadata frameworks, and CPQ configuration patterns that minimize redundancy, promote consistency, and enhance team productivity.
• Create scalable solutions utilizing Salesforce DX, platform events, custom metadata types, and cloud-specific best practices.
• Develop and manage integration systems and tools external to Salesforce, including REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and ETL tools.
• Create services and automation using Python or another object-oriented programming language when appropriate.
• Conduct architecture reviews, solution design sessions, and code reviews for intricate implementations involving Apex, LWC, Flow, and CPQ.
• Construct and sustain CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX, Gearset, GitHub, and other industry-standard tools.
• Mentor and guide engineers across teams on Salesforce development and engineering best practices.
• Over 10 years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years concentrated on the Salesforce platform in complex, multi-cloud enterprise environments.
• Advanced programming expertise in Apex and SOQL/SOSL.
• Proficient in Lightning Web Components, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Skilled in Python or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with the MuleSoft Integration Platform and DataWeave.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud development.
• Proven proficiency with AI chat and coding tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, and open-source alternatives) as part of an AI-first development workflow.
• Experience in building and maintaining Claude plugins (or similar AI tools/extensions).
• Experience utilizing and supporting MCP servers.
• A genuine, ongoing commitment to the AI market landscape — staying updated on the latest tools and a history of integrating them into team workflows.
• Experience collaborating within a traditional engineering team in close association with Product.
• Proficient in REST and SOAP APIs.
• Knowledgeable in modern software design and architecture.
• Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Developer / Platform Developer certifications.
• Experienced with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines — GitHub and Gearset.
• Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of effectively gathering and documenting business requirements.
