Senior Full-Stack Developer, Agentic AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Utilize advanced agentic AI technologies to enhance functionality within existing codebases of large and intricate programs.

• Contribute significantly to strategically vital projects across LMI’s portfolio.

• Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and technical leaders to pinpoint system challenges and implement solutions in an agile setting.

• Navigate between various programs and focus on high-impact initiatives.

• Evaluate customer needs and program goals to create mission-aligned solutions.

• Work within multidisciplinary teams to facilitate integrations and address technical obstacles.

• Ensure adherence to security protocols, government regulations, and industry best practices.

• Record technical solutions and enhancements for effective knowledge transfer.

• Execute thorough testing for code performance, scalability, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance; only U.S. Citizens qualify for a security clearance.

• Active Secret clearance is preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in development within a production environment.

• 3–5 years of full-stack development expertise in maintaining and enhancing front-end and back-end systems.

• Proven proficiency in utilizing agentic AI coding tools to scale existing codebases.

• Competence in at least one back-end programming language, with Python preferred, and one front-end framework/tool, with TypeScript preferred.

• Familiarity with the development and consumption of RESTful APIs.

• Strong foundational skills in SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB.

• Experience working in agile environments alongside multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficient in using Git; GitLab is preferred.

• Skilled with automated testing frameworks, security protocols, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent communication abilities to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Desired: advanced expertise in agentic AI tools.

• Desired: experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Desired: familiarity with microservices and containerized solutions like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Desired: UI/UX skills and knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.

• Desired: understanding of DevSecOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools, including Terraform or Ansible.

• Desired: experience in data engineering, ETL tools, data pipelines, and real-time analytics platforms.

• Desired: Security+ or CISSP certification.

• Desired: advanced knowledge of Agile or SAFe methodologies, including sprint planning and ceremonies.
