Senior Fuel Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Provide support and upkeep for fueling infrastructure at various retail sites.

• Identify, repair, and maintain fuel dispensers, underground storage tanks (USTs), leak detection systems, and vapor recovery units.

• Install and upgrade fueling equipment along with associated technology.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and compliance inspections.

• Address service calls and resolve issues promptly.

• Keep comprehensive records of service, inspections, and compliance.

• Assist with construction projects, tank testing, and permitting processes.

• Act as a technical leader and mentor to junior technicians (senior-level).

• Serve as a subject matter expert on fueling systems and regulatory compliance (senior-level).

• Collaborate with vendors, inspectors, and regulatory bodies (senior-level).

• Suggest system enhancements and long-term improvements (senior-level).

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of practical experience in servicing fuel systems.

• Capability to work independently in field service settings.

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities and capacity to work autonomously.

• Willingness to travel between store locations as needed.

• Technical certification or vocational training is preferred.

• Experience with fuel systems in retail, convenience store, or commercial fueling settings is preferred.

• Familiarity with Veeder-Root, Gilbarco, and Wayne systems is preferred.

• OSHA and/or HAZMAT certification is preferred.

• For senior-level positions, a minimum of 5+ years of fuel systems experience is preferred.
