Senior Frontend Game Developer, Pixi.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Development of the client-side for gaming slots: assembling the gameplay using Pixi.js (spins, bonus rounds, animations, UI/UX elements)

• Implementation of visual effects, transitions, and interactive elements

• Integration of gaming assets: working with graphics, animations, and sound

• Optimization of sprites, atlases, and resource loading

• Performance optimization: maintaining stable 60 FPS even on low-end devices; profiling, reducing draw calls, managing memory

• Working with project architecture: creating modular, maintainable code; setting up event, state, and configuration systems

• Integration with backend and RGS: connecting APIs (betting, RNG, bonus features, transactions)

• Testing and support: writing unit/integration tests; debugging issues, providing post-release support

• Team collaboration: working alongside game designers, technical artists, animators, and mathematicians.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development

• Experience in iGaming/slots, understanding of gaming mechanics

• Deep knowledge of PixiJS: working with rendering, sprites, containers, textures

• Ability to optimize graphics, animations, and asset loading

• Experience with REST/WebSocket API integration

• Understanding of game loop architecture, event systems, and state management

• Proficiency with version control systems (Git)

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD, build tools (Webpack, Vite)

• Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code

• English proficiency for reading documentation and team communication.
