Senior Frontend Engineer – Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the fundamental component library, global layouts, and the architecture of CSS/SCSS.

• Maintain and enhance the Angular-based design system, which includes components, tokens, and comprehensive documentation.

• Lead the direction of frontend quality across the platform, ensuring consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

• Identify quality gaps, prevent recurring issues, and foster improvements in frontend processes.

• Collaborate with designers to enhance design-to-code workflows and accelerate implementation.

• Work in partnership with product engineers to develop features, offer frontend guidance, and engage in design reviews.

• Independently guide frontend decisions while balancing the perspectives of engineering, product, and design.

• Mentor engineers on the use of the design system, frontend best practices, and maintaining UI quality consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Angular.

• Proven experience in building and scaling design systems and component libraries.

• Skilled in creating design tokens, primitives, reusable components, and scalable CSS/SCSS architectures.

• Profound understanding of frontend architecture, consistency, and long-term maintainability.

• A product-oriented mindset capable of balancing design, product, and engineering perspectives.

• Strong passion for engineering quality, pixel-perfect implementation, and delivering polished user experiences.

• Experience in establishing frontend standards, best practices, and promoting design system adoption.

• Ability to pinpoint quality gaps and initiate improvements in frontend processes.

• Strong sense of ownership and capability to make independent frontend decisions.

• Experience collaborating closely with designers to enhance design-to-code workflows.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Storybook, Figma APIs, or design token automation tools.

• Preferred: Experience utilizing AI-powered development tools to boost productivity.

• Preferred: Background in fintech, Web3, or complex enterprise SaaS platforms.
