This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Lead the mechanical engineering aspect for FPSO E-House projects, guaranteeing delivery in terms of quality, cost, and schedule.
• Create and assess designs, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation for systems such as HVAC, heat exchangers, fire detection, fire suppression, gas detection, Inergen, piping, mechanical handling, and safety systems.
• Oversee engineering deliverables, focusing on document quality, timely delivery, and resolution of customer feedback.
• Serve as the primary interface among the Customer, GE, Module Fabricator, and Sub-suppliers, delivering technical leadership across all stakeholders.
• Ensure that designs adhere to health & safety regulations, international standards, and class society rules, and lead the review process for technical drawings, layouts, isometrics, and 3D model inputs.
• Assist with Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), testing and commissioning activities, and provide technical support to Sales and ComOps during the tendering process.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Over 10 years of experience in a similar capacity within FPSO, offshore oil & gas, marine, power, or utilities sectors.
• Extensive experience in the offshore marine industry, particularly with FPSO E-house.
• Technical expertise in systems including HVAC, heat exchangers, fire detection/suppression, gas detection, Inergen, piping, and mechanical handling.
• Experience in design engineering, field engineering, manufacturing, shop assembly, or support for spares/replacement parts.
• Proficient in reading and writing technical specifications.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and understanding of commercial aspects.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
