Controls Design Engineer, Electrical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Albania.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and documentation of control systems for critical projects, including extensive data centers.

• Create and generate design drawings and documentation for control systems utilizing Revit and AutoCAD.

• Aid in the design of building automation and control systems for HVAC and related systems under the supervision of senior engineers.

• Help with layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel designs for control systems.

• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines to guarantee cohesive and integrated design delivery.

• Contribute to the design efforts for low-voltage systems, encompassing controls, fire alarms, and related systems as required.

• Revise and maintain project documentation, ensuring precision and compliance with project standards.

• Assist in design reviews by integrating feedback and implementing necessary modifications.

• Aid in the preparation of submittals, as-built drawings, and commissioning documentation.

• Adhere to internal QA/QC processes and relevant industry standards and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3–6+ years of experience in controls design, building systems, or low-voltage systems.

• Strong proficiency in Revit is preferred; experience with AutoCAD is required.

• A basic understanding of BAS/BMS systems, DDC controls, and their integration with HVAC systems.

• Familiarity with fire alarm and/or other low-voltage systems (such as security and communications) is advantageous.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and coordination skills.

• Capable of working efficiently in a team environment and managing multiple projects concurrently.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow technical instructions.
