Senior Frontend Engineer, React/Next.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Develop applications utilizing React.js and Next.js, incorporating server-side rendering concepts.

• Manage application state using Redux or similar frameworks.

• Integrate with both GraphQL and REST APIs.

• Place a strong emphasis on testing with frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.

• Monitor performance using tools like New Relic, Grafana, or Core Web Vitals metrics.

• Ensure products are accessible and optimized according to accessibility standards.

• Expertise in React.js and Next.js: Proven hands-on experience in building production applications (essential).

• State management: Proficient in Redux or comparable state management libraries.

• API integration: Knowledge of both GraphQL and REST APIs for data retrieval and management.

• HTML5 and CSS3: Strong skills, including experience with CSS pre/post-processors like SASS, LESS, or PostCSS.

• Testing frameworks: Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme for thorough testing.

• Performance optimization: Understanding of optimization techniques and tools such as New Relic, Grafana, or Core Web Vitals.

• Server-side rendering: Comprehension of SSR concepts and experience in building isomorphic applications.

• SEO and accessibility: A strong advocate for best practices that ensure products are both discoverable and accessible.

• Agile methodology: Comfortable working within Scrum/Kanban frameworks with a high degree of autonomy.
