Senior Frontend Engineer – Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create onboarding experiences where an AI agent guides users through the app by clicking, highlighting, demonstrating, and providing verbal assistance.

• Develop an experience that transforms connected inbox data into recognized deals, contacts, and a comprehensive business portfolio.

• Design experiments by determining what to measure, defining funnels, and structuring metrics for B2B conversions and user behaviors.

• Take full ownership of experimentation in Amplitude from start to finish.

• Collaborate on onboarding, activation, billing, import, and other product surfaces.

• Rapidly ship prototypes, identify the quickest routes to insights, and standardize and refine successful experiments.

• Contribute to shaping the approach of Growth frontend engineering at Close.

• Work collaboratively across teams and potentially shift between teams as project needs change.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced frontend engineer.

• Proficient in React; familiarity with Vue, Svelte, or Solid is advantageous.

• Capability to choose the right tools for various challenges.

• Background in diverse frontend issues, teamwork, and self-motivation.

• Expertise in experimentation, including identifying relevant data points, understanding funnels, and designing features that yield valuable data.

• Experience with B2B experimental frameworks.

• Amplitude implementation experience is a significant plus.

• Proven experience in delivering LLM-backed features to actual users.

• Knowledge of reliable AI interfaces, streamed responses, uncertain states, and agent-driven UIs.

• Regular use of AI tools within development workflows.

• A builder-first mindset and comfort with launching initial iterations, followed by standardization and refinement.

• Ability to work remotely.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Willingness to attend international week-long team offsites.

• Proficient in TypeScript, React, Vite, Amplitude, CSS Modules, Storybook, Playwright, and WebSockets.
