Senior Frontend Engineer – Grafana Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

• Actively contribute to shaping our roadmap and defining your career goals.

• Lead projects from the inception stage through to operational execution once it reaches our customers.

• Participate in your team’s on-call rotations and take responsibility for the services you manage.

• Provide mentorship and support to fellow team members, engage in design discussions, and collaborate effectively with the team.

• Acquire new skills by deepening your understanding of our cloud product and customers while familiarizing yourself with the codebase.

• Assist in creating and reviewing design documents for forthcoming features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong engineering capabilities: Extensive experience in developing production software systems. You are a self-motivated individual, adept at resolving complex engineering issues with minimal guidance. You regard writing tests as an essential element of the development process, rather than an afterthought. Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Jest, and Playwright is essential.

• Complex operational reasoning: Ability to tackle intricate challenges and decompose them into focused feedback loops: analyze, design, deploy an MVP, collect data, and iterate.

• Demonstrated initiative and practicality: You take charge and propel projects forward, pushing the limits to discover the most impactful solutions. You can navigate ambiguity and define project scope, breaking down complex challenges to achieve rapid feedback loops.

• Collaborative mindset: You communicate effectively with colleagues, product managers, and designers. You are receptive to feedback and adopt a solutions-focused approach.
