Senior Frontend Engineer – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Take charge of significant frontend projects, assist in steering intricate technical undertakings, and collaborate closely with leadership to shape the future of our platform.

• Tackle technical debt, refresh client interfaces, develop and sustain in-house design systems, and devise scalable solutions for various product verticals.

• Be responsible for the overhaul of approximately 13 back-office pages and features within the Booking scope.

• Execute high-fidelity designs provided by the dedicated designer.

• Write clean, maintainable code in React (TypeScript) that conforms to the internal design system.

• Collaborate with internal engineers to ensure consistency and facilitate a smooth handover at the conclusion of the project.

• Engage in code reviews and maintain high-quality standards throughout the duration of the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in front-end development, specifically with React (TypeScript is a must).

• Comfortable taking ownership of complex UI projects that involve a significant number of pages to deliver.

• Capable of understanding product decisions to foster constructive discussions during the implementation phase.

• Experience working with an established design system.

• A meticulous approach to code quality, capable of moving swiftly without compromising on maintainability.

• Strong written communication skills in English.

• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment, preferably within B2B SaaS.
