This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create innovative tools that users genuinely enjoy.
• Enhance our canvas-based video editor by adding new functionalities utilizing PixiJS and WebGL.
• Transform design prototypes into flawless, high-performance interactions.
• Address challenging frontend issues such as undo/redo, layer management, animations, transitions, responsive canvas, and more.
• Develop features that leverage our current collaboration framework.
• Deliver co-editing, commenting, and approval workflows that teams find beneficial.
• Collaborate with the team to further develop the editor's architecture.
• Work closely with designers who prioritize attention to detail.
• Gain insights from experts in video rendering and media processing.
• Over 5 years of experience in building complex frontend applications.
• Extensive knowledge of Angular and TypeScript — you design components rather than merely utilizing them.
• Naturally think in terms of RxJS and reactive patterns.
• Experience in creating interactive graphics (Canvas, PixiJS, WebGL, or similar technologies).
• Background in developing video editing tools, creative software, or design applications.
• Successfully resolved significant performance challenges that enhanced the user experience.
• Take ownership of outcomes rather than just completing tasks.
• Communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity — and assume accountability for the results.
