Senior Frontend Engineer, Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold scalable, high-quality UI components, features, and reusable libraries.

• Create intuitive, performant, accessible, and responsive user experiences tailored for various browsers and devices.

• Construct and manage frontend integrations with backend services, which include REST APIs, webhooks, and real-time functionality via WebSockets.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate frontend challenges, such as memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and production-related bugs.

• Define, present, and spearhead relevant technical initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in frontend software development, demonstrating a strong history of creating scalable, maintainable applications.

• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

• Familiarity with state management solutions like Redux, Context API, or similar technologies.

• Practical experience in integrating with backend systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and/or WebSockets.

• Strong capability to diagnose and rectify memory leaks, frontend performance challenges, and browser/runtime inefficiencies.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Proficient in monitoring and supporting production software.

• Proven expertise in cloud-native development, understanding how to construct and maintain resilient and scalable frontend architectures in a cloud setting.
