Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation of scalable frontend components and features utilizing React.js and contemporary JavaScript frameworks.

• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code in accordance with frontend engineering best practices and coding standards.

• Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces across web applications.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to convert business requirements and design concepts into functional user experiences.

• Contribute to enhancing overall user experience, visual consistency, and frontend architecture.

• Optimize frontend applications for speed, responsiveness, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Enhance rendering performance and application efficiency across both desktop and mobile devices.

• Implement best practices for monitoring and optimizing frontend performance.

• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs, services, and data sources.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end product functionality.

• Engage in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure maintainability, scalability, and consistency of code.

• Mentor and provide support to junior frontend engineers through technical guidance and best practices.

• Foster a strong engineering culture and promote continuous improvement within the team.

• Stay current with the latest frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 4 years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React.js.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development methodologies.

• Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less.

• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.

• Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts and API integrations.

• Solid knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.

• Experience in optimizing frontend performance and understanding browser rendering behaviors.

• Practical experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
