Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Transform designs provided by the design team into functional components using React.

• Work closely with designers and engineers to define features and shape product direction.

• Engage in code and design reviews to uphold quality and ensure robust architecture.

• Produce maintainable, clear, and well-structured code, along with comprehensive tests and documentation.

• Discuss and set frontend architecture standards and patterns to support the company's growth.

• Make direct technical contributions while offering guidance to fellow team members.

• Contribute to various areas of the codebase as needed.

• Assist in developing and expanding Taekus's banking systems, rewards infrastructure, partner integrations, and web portal for travel rewards credit cards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally within a startup or major tech company.

• Proficient in creating production-grade software using React, TypeScript, and Redux.

• Skilled in developing aesthetically pleasing user interfaces with superior user experience.

• Experienced in direct database interactions using SQL and through APIs.

• Proven experience in leading engineering teams and establishing design standards and coding patterns (preferred).

• Familiarity with Django, Python, Expo Go, and Postgres (preferred).

• Background in writing code within a highly regulated industry such as financial services (preferred).

• Must indicate if visa sponsorship is necessary to work in the United States.

• Willingness to travel to San Francisco, New York, Chicago, or Austin for an onsite interview.
