This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Create frontend applications for both web and mobile platforms utilizing React, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Contribute to and enhance a modular, scalable micro-frontend architecture.
• Develop reusable frontend components and shared client frameworks.
• Improve performance and responsiveness across both desktop and mobile devices.
• Establish best practices for SDK integrations, consent enforcement, observability, and client performance.
• Design and execute structured event instrumentation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
• Integrate analytics and CDP SDKs while focusing on performance, batching, offline handling, and reliability.
• Define, version, and manage structured event schemas and taxonomy standards.
• Architect scalable integration patterns between client applications, backend services, and downstream data platforms.
• Ensure that event data is reliable, well-structured, and appropriate for streaming, analytics, identity resolution, and activation use cases.
• Support the monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement of client event pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to align instrumentation and architecture with business goals.
• Engage in architectural discussions that influence long-term platform modernization.
• Balance ongoing support requirements with prospective architectural enhancements.
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and elevate standards in frontend engineering.
• Convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Extensive experience in developing and scaling modern web and mobile-first applications.
• Strong expertise in React, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Experience with micro-frontend architecture and the development of scalable frontend applications.
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and structured event schema design.
• Experience in integrating client event streams into CDPs and downstream analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with relational databases (Postgres, Oracle) and analytical platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and contemporary development tools.
• Strong knowledge of data integrity, governance, observability, and privacy best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
• Experience in implementing analytics or CDP SDKs within frontend or hybrid mobile applications is a plus.
