Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and implement robust, scalable, and user-friendly frontend solutions for the Provet Pay platform.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, and various stakeholders to influence product development.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs while optimizing for performance and scalability through exploration and experimentation.

• Write and maintain high-quality code, adhering to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.

• Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and create opportunities for mentoring junior engineers.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues, delivering timely and effective solutions.

• Stay informed about emerging frontend technologies and trends, advocating for their appropriate adoption.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development processes, tools, and infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in software development.

• Familiarity with the payments domain, including card tokenization, checkout, and authorization.

• Proficient in TypeScript and experienced with large-scale JavaScript projects.

• Expertise in Vue, with experience in React, emphasizing strong fundamentals.

• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS, with experience in building accessible user interfaces.

• Preferred experience in developing platforms utilized by other products (UI).

• Experience with automated frontend testing.

• Knowledge of Python/Django is a plus.

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD is a plus.

• Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Comfortable and inquisitive about AI coding assistance tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GH Copilot.
